1. Introduction
Raag (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a personal finance application built for Pakistani users. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. When you sign up with email, we store your email address. Financial data: all transactions, loans, and financial records you enter are stored securely in Firebase Firestore under your unique user account. This data is never shared with third parties.
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide and improve the Raag app; to identify your account and keep your data private; to send you loan reminders and expense notifications (only if you enable them in Settings).
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. Each user’s data is completely isolated — no other user can see your transactions or loans.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database) and Google Sign-In (optional login method).
6. Notifications
Raag may send you local notifications for loan due-date reminders and daily expense-logging reminders. You can disable these at any time in the app Settings.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app: Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent. If you’d rather we handle it, email us at the address below and we will delete all your data within 7 days.
8. Children’s Privacy
Raag is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes through the app.
